Also GOT to remember to adjust the white balance outside. . .
The beans were rather small lots - around 300g each which is about half of what I would normally roast in a batch. I wanted to see how the roast profile changed for different beans with the mass change.
I also realised that the greater bean mass means less beans flung from the pan by the paddle - 600 grams really does seem to be the optimum for this roasting method.
600g is definitely the ideal amount, when I did 300g I had more beans on the benchtop than in the roaster!!!
